My name is Nadine and I’m a 2L. I made the big move from Canada to California last year, trading in my snow shoes for flip flops and my dog sled for a surf board. I’ve lived in 4 different countries on 3 different continents, which might explain my interest in all things international. I studied Political Science at MacEwan University in Canada, where I spent more time volunteering for campus clubs than actually studying. My experiences ranged from a foot-blistering 8 day walk to raise awareness for Darfur, to hosting classy fundraisers featuring prominent speakers on humanitarian issues. After graduating, I decided to study International Law and pursue a career in Human Rights so that I can fulfill my dream of being perpetually in debt. But in all seriousness, I spent this past summer visiting refugee camps and doing human rights-y things, and I have no regrets whatsoever. I can’t wait to get the ball rolling on our Community Outreach plans this year and get to know all you like-minded Loyolans.
When I’m not busy being a law student, I like to do yoga or dance. I also love exploring different parts of SoCal and getting to know my new home.
