Natasha is a 2L at Loyola Law School. She graduated from the University of Houston in May 2012 and moved back to California about 3 years ago. Before coming to law school, she worked at a small Workers Compensation firm. At the same time, she was also a server at a couple of different restaurants. Working 2 jobs for a couple years seems like a nightmare, but it became her norm. She liked working and loved working with people. Plus, MONEY$$$.
Whenever she had a day off, she always had fun food adventures with family and friends. She’s actually quite a foodie! I don’t think you will ever see her get as excited about anything like how she gets about eating food. She will try to plan a week’s worth of meals for any and everyone if they’ll let her. (Ask her friends, she only hangs out for food)
After working and eating her way through for a few years, it was finally time for her to go to law school. She is very interested in family law, but still wants to explore other areas of law before settling down. This past summer, she had a judicial externship at the U.S. District Court in the Central District of CA. And in addition to her position as a general board member in PILF, she is the External Vice President for Loyola’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
